Properly Kingston-on-Thames, a residential town in northern Surrey. Located on the right bank of the Thames, it is one of the more exlusive suburbs of London.ILLU: Baron Gruner lived near here (NOte: is this consistent with Kensington?). Holmes took a cab out to Kingston and found the Baron in a most affable mood.
